FAST, Fast Applicative Shield Technology, is an Arkoon patent-protected technology. FAST is made of a set of programs which runs in Kernel mode in a Linux based secure Operating System.
FAST allow a Pro-active approach to network protection attacks based on Application evel security enforcement. Thanks to its Kernel mode architecture and its small footprint FAST will provide extremely good performance.
The FAST engine is made of an execution server and a set of modules, each module corresponding to a given network or application protocols. Arkoon currently provide a library of 20 FAST modules as well as a FAST SDK which allow third parties partners to develop their own FAST modules.
