- Reduce your communication costs : With the "Multiple communication
links management" QoS module it is possible to manage
several links simultaneously (dedicated lines, ADSL, ISDN, cable) and
to dispatch the flows towards these various links. This functionality
is very interesting in that it brings together simultaneously the benefits
of dedicated leased lines with high-data-rate links that are less expensive
but offer an unguaranteed throughput. Moreover, it can position an emergency
link in case of a failure of the main link.
- Increase your productivity : The "Bandwidth management" QoS
module can watch, limit, or reserve the bandwidth used by a service (VPN,
HTTP, FTP, SMTP, etc.) or a source (IP address) on a given connection.
Thus, you can give priority to your main flows (VPN) and limit the bandwidth
usage for the secondary flows.
