IPsec vpn for securing internet protocol IP
An IPsec VPN uses strong authentication and data encryption at the IP layer to secure data exchanges over the internet.
IPsec VPN can be used to protect information flows between computer users or servers between security gateways such as routers or firewalls or between a security gateway and a host.
Arkoon's IPsec VPN suite uses the following protocols to perform various functions:
- Internet key exchange to set up a security association
- Authentication Header
- Encapsulating Security Payload to provide confidentiality and data origin authentication
