Authentication server

ARKOON solutions have authentication server functions
which permit to check the access to the resources and to protect against
IP address usurpation risks. Each user authenticates himself thanks to
a certificate (X509) ; the user base can be local (Arkoon Certification Authority) or deported (external PKI).
The different modes of authentication server
The users can be authenticated by different ways:
Local users base
External server of Windows NT/2000 type
(possibility of transparent authentication of NTLM type)
External server of RADIUS type
External server of LDAP type
The compatibility with different types of authentication server
enables ARKOON security solutions to be easily integrated into existing
networks.
Strong authentication
ARKOON firewalls are compatible with different strong authentication solutions
(USB key, smart card, biometry,…)
