Security BOX® Authority Manager is a Certification Authority
administration software. It includes Security BOX® Manager functionalities
and allows to build a Certification Authority with several levels in order
to fit certification and security policies. Several administrators can
work simultaneously according to their rights and roles.
Security BOX® Authority Manager may use a Hardware Security Module
(HSM) to generate and store roots and authority keys. The administrator
can operate in a client server mode.
Administrator Management
Security BOX® Authority Manager allows to declare and authorize
several profiles of administrators such as: main administrator, auditor,
certification agent, certificates managers …
Logs management
Security BOX® Authority Manager uses a log file to archive every changes
applied by the administrators. Authorized auditors are allowed to read
this file.
HSM
Security BOX® Authority Manager supports a security device to generate
and store authorities' keys. It enables to define and execute the key
ceremony in order to make the PKI ready to use.
Revocation list generation and sending
Security BOX® Authority Manager generates signs and sends key revocation
files (CRL). These files are issued and sent automatically or on demand.
Certification Authority interface
Security BOX® Authority Manager software is interoperable with an
existing PKI or a certification service provider. It enables the integration
of certificate in users' accounts.
